Notice is hereby given that the Hanover Park Regional Board of Education will be receiving sealed bids at the board offices located at 75 Mount Pleasant Avenue, East Hanover, NJ 07936, for the Hanover Park High School Mechanical Replacement Project.
The scope of work generally includes the replacement of existing and installation of new boilers, roof top units, convectors, mechanical units, ductwork, piping, plumbing, electrical, building controls, roof penetrations, steel reinforcements, and all other associated work as specified and shown on the drawings.
All necessary bid specifications and bid forms may be secured upon written request to the Architect, FKA Architects, 306 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ by sending an email to info@fkarch.com, by calling FKA Architects at 201-644-0505, or online at www.fkarch.com.
All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. Bids are to be marked in a sealed envelope and delivered to William Albert, Business Administrator, with the name of the project, “Hanover Park High School Mechanical Replacement Project“, plainly marked on the front of the envelope. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:2-1 et seq., “The Law Against Discrimination” and Affirmative Action, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1. et seq.
All bidders and their subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. All bids must be accompanied by a Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act to the Bidder and all subcontractors.
Pursuant to P.L. 2004 c.57 (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44) all bids must be accompanied by a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. The Bidder must include its own Business Registration Certificate and all subcontractors.
No bidder who is on the State Treasurer’s, the SDA’s or the Federal Government’s List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders shall be eligible to bid on this project.
Bids must be submitted to the Hanover Park Regional Board of Education no later than 10 o’clock am on January 10, 2024. All bids will be opened and read to the public at that time by the School Business Administrator at the board offices. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening of the bids.
The Hanover Park Regional Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Board of Education. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Hanover Park Regional Board of Education.
